This shall be a Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business Set-Aside (SDVOSB). As a result, all SDVOSB's may submit a bid, which will be considered by the agency. This project is classified under NAICS Code 236220 and has a size standard of $36.5 Million. The cost estimate range for this project is $1,00,000.00 to $2,000,000.00. Scope of Work: Correct FCA Deficiencies project involves Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and Structural work as depicted in the project drawings and specifications. A. ITEM I: GENERAL CONSTRUCITON: Correct FCA Deficiencies project involves Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and Structural work as depicted in the project drawings and specifications. Completion for Bid Item I shall be within a maximum of 180 days. This work includes, but is not limited to, the following general outline. 1. Pre-demolition preparatory work, including installation of a temporary boiler blowdown system consisting of boiler blowdown piping, domestic water piping, temporary blowdown separator, and drain piping to the existing underground site sanitary system. 2. Installation of a new boiler blowdown piping system, including new blowdown separator, vent piping, blowdown cooler with domestic water feed, and connection to existing underground sanitary line outside the building. Existing boiler blowdown piping to be demolished. 3. Replacement of approx. 150LF of boiler room pipe trench, including new grating covers. 4. Demolition of existing boiler room roof mounted gravity intakes, makeup air heaters, and associated steam and condensate piping and accessories. 5.Installation of new combustion air equipment including gravity intakes, three new roof penetrations, steam unit heaters, new connection to high pressure steam main, steam pressure reducing station, and associated steam and condensate piping and accessories. 6. Replacement of (4) roof mounted centrifugal fans on existing roof curbs. 7. Installation of approximately 38-LF of freestanding ballasted type safety railing around entire perimeter of roof. 8. Replacement of (3) double doors and frames, and (1) single door and frame. 9. Construction of new closer around existing IT equipment, including new split system air conditioning system. 10. Hydro jet cleaning and repair of approximately 150LF of underground sanitary piping and floor drains, and replacement of approximately 180LF of underground sanitary piping and floor drains. 11. Installation of a new 40-gallon electric hot water heater and associated piping. 12. Replacement in kind of a 25-gallon generator fuel oil day tank. 13. Electrical connections to new mechanical equipment (with new breakers, conduit, feeders, and motor starters), and disconnections and reconnections to boiler control panels being replaced. 14. Replacement of distribution panel DP-EM and replacement of existing generator automatic transfer switch in new location including extension of feeders. Contractor shall provide a temporary generator during the period of time this work is being performed. 15. Demolition of existing motor control center and installation of new motor control panel in new location. Includes extension of feeders. 16. Replacement of existing distribution panel MDP and installation in new location. Includes extension of feeders. 17. Repair, extension, and certification of existing lightning protection system. 18. Provide new propane pilot gas piping system, including exterior dual gas cylinder wall bracket, regulator, piping to (4) boilers, plus valving and accessories. B. Completion for Bid Item II shall be within a maximum of 180 days concurrent with ITEM I.
