NO. 200 at the Northport VA Medical Center, 79 Middleville Road, Northport, NY 11768. This shall be a Veteran Owned Small Business Set-Aside (VOSB). As a result, all VOSB's and SDVOSB s may submit a bid, which will be considered by the agency. This project is classified under NAICS Code 238160 and has a size standard of $16.5 Million. The cost estimate range for this project is Between $2,000,000 and $5,000,000. Scope of Work: Furnish all necessary professional Construction services to provide complete scope of work to UPGRADE SEWAGE TREATMENT PLANT in accordance to the project drawings and specifications for the Northport VA Medical. PROJECT NO. 632-17-103, UPGRADE SEWAGE TREATMENT PLANT, PHASE 1 This Project will replace roofing at Bldg. No. 200 at the Northport VA Medical Center, 79 Middleville Road, Northport, NY 11768. The Contractor shall furnish labor and materials and perform work for replacement of existing roof as required by drawings and specifications. Work includes general construction; removal and disposal of existing roofing materials (including asbestos abatement); mechanical and electrical work; necessary removal of existing construction and certain other items. Electrical work includes temporary electrical services and possible scheduled shutdown of electrical service for portions of the hospital. Mechanical work includes labor and any equipment associated with the temporary hoisting, moving, and resetting to accommodate roofing in areas with mechanical equipment. Plumbing work is limited to replacement of existing roof drain bodies (in-kind). Project Completion: 365 Calendar Days All other details and information shall be contained in the solicitation which shall be posted on https://beta.sam.gov/. The solicitation will be released on or about July 15, 2020. The response submittal address, date and time will be included in the solicitation. This project requires bonding and all responses/submissions shall be in hardcopies; faxed bids will not be accepted. All prospective bidders must be currently registered in www.sam.gov and be registered and verified as a VOSB in www.vip.vetbiz.gov at the time of offer submission and before award of this procurement.
