This Is A Pre-Solicitation Notice Synopsizing an Upcoming Competitive Solicitation Satisfying the Requirements of FAR 5.201 and 5.203 An Invitation for Bids (IFB) Will Be Posted on Or About June 26, 2019. Requirement Title: Roof Replacement and Restoration, Albany VA Medical Center Project Number: 528A8-20-801 Procurement Number: 36C24220B0048 The Albany VA Medical Center (VAMC) intend to solicit the above-mentioned requirement and award a Firm-Fixed-Price contract to a qualified Offeror in accordance with FAR 52.214-19. The awardee shall be responsible for providing all labor, materials, tools, equipment and supervision necessary to perform work under project number 528A8-20-801 titled Roof Replacement and Restoration . The general scope of this project is to remove existing roofing system and install a new roofing system. Roof moisture survey needs to be performed to identify areas of wet insulation and verify that the existing roof system is a candidate for roof restorations, and the roof system will need to be replaced with in-kind material. All work shall be accomplished at the Albany VAMC campus in accordance with the specifications and drawings, and ensure they meet the safety and environmental guidelines of VA facility, and local entities (city/state). The NAICS code for this procurement is 238160 with a small business size standard of $16.5 million. The magnitude of this project is between $250,000 and $500,000. A 20% bid bond will be required and must be submitted with the bid. This project is 100% set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses per 38 U.S.C. 8127-28; VAAR 819.7004(a) and 819.7005. The solicitation package shall be available on or after 6/26/19. The date for receipt of offers will be scheduled for 30 calendar days after issuance of the solicitation. All relevant solicitation documents, including specifications, drawings, may be accessed for download on the date of issuance at the following website: https://beta.sam.gov/. Any amendments to the solicitation will be posted solely to this web site. It is the responsibility of the offeror to verify the number of amendments issued. All offerors must ensure SAM registration is active, current, and accurate. Offerors must be both VISIBLE and VERIFIED by the Department of Veterans Center for Verification and Evaluation (CVE).
