This pre-solicitation notice is to inform that the VA Medical Center, Bath, New York will be posting a solicitation on or about February 19, 2020 for Renovate 2nd Floor Restrooms, B-76 at the Bath VA Medical Center. Project No. 528A5-18-634. The general scope of this project is to renovate and improve accessibility to the existing restrooms located at the south end, second floor of the main hospital building, Bldg. 76. The Contractor shall supply all the materials, tools, and labor to completely renovate as shown on the drawings and in the specifications dated 08/21/2019. Contractor will adhere strictly to the plans and specifications unless directed otherwise by the CO. The work will include all trades for general building construction. The trades used will include but are not limited to electrical, mechanical, carpentry, and plumbing. All federal, state, and local building and safety codes MUST be followed. All work is to be completed as shown on the plan documents unless otherwise directed by the facility/CO. This procurement is 100% set-aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses . The NAICS code is 236220. The small business standard is $39.5 M. The cost range is $100,000 to $250,000. Information regarding the one and only site visit scheduled will be stated in the Solicitation. A 20% Bid Bond must be submitted with the bid. Performance and Payment bonds will be required.
