NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE: Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Network Contracting Office 2 (NCO 2) located at the Syracuse VA Medical Center 800 Irving Ave. Syracuse, NY 13210, intends to award a sole source contract award to Laborie Medical Technologies, 400 Ave D Ste 10 Williston, VT, 05495. The period of performance is April 1, 2019 through March 31, 2023. Potential offerors shall be capable of providing full annual service maintenance services on one Aquarius CT Urodynamics machine. All work/services shall be performed by an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) certified trained technician. Please refer to the minimum requirements below. Service maintenance services shall include: Replacement of ROAM DX or UROCAP V up to 3 times per year. Replacement component shall be received within the next business day. One (1) preventive Battery Replacement for ROAM DX & UROCAP V after 2 years. One (1) replacement set of transducer cables per contract year. Provide unlimited telephone support for technical assistance related to software, hardware, and how-to issues. Provides software upgrades to equipment. Laborie Medical Technologies is the only known provider since the maintenance can only be provided by Laborie Medical Technologies. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES; however, any firm that believes it can meet the requirements may give written notification prior to the response due date and time. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to perform the requirements. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. If no responses are received, the Government will proceed with the award. Responses are due by March 8, 2019 at 4:00 p.m. (ET). Responses shall be submitted via e-mail to Richard.Amodeo@va.gov .
