The VA Boston Healthcare System seeks a vendor to perform a localized replacement-in-kind repair of the existing Ameristar Impasse Trident perimeter security fence at the Brockton VA Campus, 940 Belmont Street, Brockton, MA 02301. The fence has sustained damage associated with winter snow-removal activities, and the work must restore the damaged portion to its original alignment, configuration, appearance, structural stability, and security function. Work is limited to the damaged fence section and associated posts, footings, connections, and adjacent disturbed areas; no new fence line, expanded fenced area, or redesign is authorized, and the undamaged fence must remain in place and be protected. Offerors may quote genuine Ameristar components or an alternate manufacturer’s components only if the complete installed system meets all salient characteristics in the Statement of Work and interfaces with the retained fence without reducing security or changing the existing fence line.
