The VA Network Contracting Office 1 seeks vendors capable of providing bulk road salt and ice melt to the Northampton VA Medical Center/Central Western MA HCS, delivered to 421 North Main Street, Leeds, MA 01053. Requirements include 98% sodium chloride road salt and calcium chloride with CMA ice melt with moisture not exceeding 4%, delivered in whole-ton increments with an initial 40 tons and up to 200 additional tons. Delivery is expected within 72 hours of notification, with initial delivery before November 1 and as requested from November 15 through April 30, 2027, during 0800–1430 to the salt shed adjacent to Building 13. Interested vendors should submit a capability response using the attached worksheet, include cut sheets and Safety Data Sheets, be registered in SAM and VISTA, and keep responses to 8 pages or fewer.
