Repair of Water Storage Tank Leaking Seams at the Northampton VA Medical Center

Total Small Business Set-Aside (FAR 19.5)
Notice ID:36C24126Q0820

This amendment provides answers to questions about a water storage tank repair. The tank capacity is 265,016 gallons, and there are at least two leaks located in the upper and lower thirds; the lowest seam leak produces a spurting stream while higher seam(s) drip. The contractor is responsible for determining the leaking seam locations and adhering to the PWS, and the VA anticipates exterior repair may take one to two days. The repair must be assessed and performed only by an OEM-authorized servicer, using OEM-approved materials from the exterior.
