Ceiling Lift Systems Installation and Removal of Existing Systems
The White River Junction VA Healthcare System requires removal/disposal of 18 end-of-life ceiling lift systems and furnishing, installation, testing, and commissioning of 21 new patient ceiling lift systems (Guldmann brand name or equal), including tracks, hanger bars, slings, controls, and training. The scope includes XY/traverse and linear track systems, 550-lb and 825-lb lifts, disposable slings, load/weight testing, infection-control compliance, and stamped structural/seismic engineering calculations. Performance will occur at the White River Junction VA Healthcare System campus, with the period of performance to be determined by the Contracting Officer and installation coordinated around room availability and clinical operations. Normal work hours are 7:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, excluding federal holidays, unless otherwise approved by the VA. Evaluation will be based on technical capability, past performance, Veterans’ involvement, price, warranty, and speed of delivery under simplified acquisition procedures.
