This requirement is a total small-business set-aside for firm-fixed-price strand-specific RNA-sequencing services, covering 269 government-furnished human choroid plexus total RNA samples. The work includes sample QC, rRNA-depletion library preparation, Illumina paired-end 2x150bp sequencing at 60 million read pairs per sample, QC reporting, and delivery of FASTQ files. Performance will occur at the contractor’s laboratory facility, with government-furnished samples shipped from the VA Bedford Healthcare System. The period of performance is one year from award, with all services and final data delivery required within 23–28 business days after receipt of all samples as one batch. Award will be made to the lowest-priced technically acceptable quoter.
