The Department of Veterans Affairs intends to award a sole source contract to Tecan US, Inc. for the purchase and installation of a TECAN Fluent 780 Automated Liquid Handler with all necessary components for full operational capability. The equipment will be installed at VAMC Boston, MA. This is a pre-solicitation notice of intent, not a solicitation, and no solicitation will be posted. The sole source justification is based on FAR 6.302-1, citing Tecan as the only responsible source able to meet the VAMC Boston research compliance requirements.
