VISN 1 is seeking a contractor to create a Utility Management Plan for ten (10) individual facilities distribution amongst the eight (8) locations Connecticut, Massachesetts, Maine, New Hampshire, Vermonth and Rhode Island. The intent of the plan is multifaceted. First, it is to create an accurate inventory of the utilities and utility equipment of each site. Second, it is to determine which of these utilities are critical to patient care and operations. Third, it is to assess and document the risk of failure of each item and provide a contingency plan if necessary. Finally, it is to provide a schedule and procedures for preventative maintenance and critical testing of each item. Each site will use the information provided in the plan as a basis for their operations moving forward.
