NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE Response Due Date: August 26, 2024, by 10:00 am (EST) Requirement: The contractor shall provide all required service including emergency service, repairs, preventative and corrective maintenance, labor, travel, unlimited parts, technical support, application support, and factory authorized updates/modifications/upgrades for the VA IntraSight and SyncVision systems. All services performed shall be in accordance with the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) specifications. Field service engineers must be licensed or contracted with the original manufacturer in order to work on the equipment. All parts and software must be certified new from the original manufacturer. Reference below for equipment type and the required service: Summary of Service & Equipment Description: Service Coverage for Philips Systems including but not limited to the below model names and serial numbers. The proposed procurement is for service for which the Government intends to award to only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. 41 U.S.C. 3304(a)(1). The North American Industry Classification System code (NAICS) for this requirement is 541511. All responsible sources that feel they should be considered qualified to provide the above-mentioned services may submit a response to this notice (by the response due date shown above) to kim.mccarthy@va.gov. The information provided shall include detailed (and relevant) documentation to allow the government to perform adequate market research and make a proper determination. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct an unrestricted open market procurement. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS.
