The Department of Veterans Affairs intends to negotiate a sole source contract with:   EMULATE INC CAGE: 76PS3 UEI: RPUADLQ52GD7 27 DRYDOCK AVE BOSTON, MA 02210-2377 Congressional District: 08 This is not a solicitation. The Department of Veterans Affairs intends to negotiate services with OEM, SB, EMULATE INC, to deliver Brain Organoid Generating Platform located at the VAMC West White River Junction, VT Campus. OEM, SB, EMULATE INC is the is the sole source provider of the Human Emulation System, a platform comprised of (i)Organ-Chips that recreate the natural physiology and mechanical forces which cells experience in the human body ( Organ-Chips ), (ii) automated instruments (Pod Portable Module, Zoe Culture Module, and Orb Hub Module), and (iii) software applications designed to work with various Organ-Chips for integration and analysis, as reflected on Emulate s website (collectively, the System ). Since the intent is to procure this on a sole source basis, no solicitation will be posted to Contracting Opportunities SAM.gov. The authority for this action is FAR 6.302.1-1 Only One Responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.  The NAICS 334516. The size standard is 1,000 employees.
