The Department of Veterans Affairs intends to negotiate a sole source contract with:   SOPHION BIOSCIENCE INC CAGE: 8DM67 UEI: HU84CLQ6JSL5 213 BURLINGTON RD., SUITE 105 BEDFORD, MA 01730-1468 Congressional District: 06 This is not a solicitation. The Department of Veterans Affairs intends to negotiate services with OEM, SB, SOPHION BIOSCIENCE INC, to deliver consumables for the Qube automated electrophysiology instruments that s currently located at the VAMC West Haven, CT Campus. SB Sophion Bioscience Inc is the only company who provides the Qube products in North America. A Sole Source Letter has been provided from OEM SB, Sophion Bioscience indicating they are the only company who services, provides parts, training, and application support for the Qube. Since the intent is to procure this on a sole source basis, no solicitation will be posted to Contracting Opportunities SAM.gov. The authority for this action is FAR 6.302.1-1 Only One Responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.  The NAICS 334516. The size standard is 1,000 employees.
