The Department of Veterans Affairs intends to negotiate a sole source contract with:   MOLECULAR DEVICES, LLC 3860 N 1ST St. SAN JOSE, CA 95134-1702 UEI: EMSJF133EBY9 This is not a solicitation. The Department of Veterans Affairs intends to negotiate to purchase the Spectramax i3x Multimode System, including parts, installation, technical support and training for its VA Boston, West Roxbury Campus. The contractor will provide the required product, installation services, and technical support. Since the intent is to procure this on a sole source basis, no solicitation will be posted to Contracting Opportunities on SAM.gov. The authority for this action is FAR 6.302.1-1 Only One Responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.  The NAICS 334516. The size standard is 1000.
