Presolicitation Notice of Intent to Sole Source This is not a solicitation. The Department of Veterans Affairs intends to negotiate a sole source contract for a one (1) base year and (4) annual option years with Continuum of Care, Inc 109 Legion Ave, New Haven, CT 06519. The contractor will provide Crisis stabilization/step down beds to Veterans whose symptoms are no longer acute and therefore no longer meeting inpatient level of care, and/or awaiting housing or substance abuse rehab treatment. The Contractor shall provide all services to include at minimum, case management and residential support. Due to the existing contract relationship with VA Connecticut Healthcare System, as well as their specialized expertise in this area, Continuum of Care, Inc is the only vendor that can provide Crisis stabilization/step down beds services. Since the intent is to procure this on a sole source basis, no solicitation will be posted to Contract Opportunities. A Sources Sought Notice published to Contract Opportunities on 05 March 2024 under #36C24124Q0333, returned no results. The applicable NAICS code is 623220 with a $19.0 MIL size standard. The PSC is Q519. The authority for this action is FAR 6.302.1 Only One Responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.
