Performance Work Statement Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Medical Center, Leeds MA Procure and Integrate Lynx Duress Alarms GENERAL The VA Central Western Mass requires duress alarms in all Audiology Patient Booths as the model is no longer supported. This requires the procurement, installation, and integration of components to integrate into the Lynx Duress Alarm System currently used on campus. This will a clinic on Edward P. Boland VAMC. Location of Facility: Central Western Massachusetts 421 North Main Street Leeds, MA 01053-9764 PROJECT SCOPE OF WORK Work shall consist of: Procurement of Lynx (wireless) Duress Alarms and other components necessary to support system integration (ie. receiver) for the Audiology Clinic in Building 1. This includes the following tasks: Provide Wifi (LYNX-N-PB-M) enabled Lynx Duress Alarms per drawing. Provide technician with VA User Logical Access to integrate with VA Network and demonstrate each device is connected and able to be monitored per existing VA System located in Building 25 on the Edward P. Boland Campus in Leeds, MA. General Breakdown by location, quantity and type: Edward P. Boland Audiology (Att 1): Install three (3) Panic A style button wireless system. Integrate into existing head end in TR Room on 1st Floor (Att 2). Installation may require additional components for high quality of service ie receiver. Test each newly installed and or integrated device to confirm proper working condition. If necessary include labor effort for training and trips the site to get badged to gain logical access for the person identified to commission the system. Includes significant training and processing time. Work will be in accordance with applicable VHA and OSHA standards and regulations. Installation and any site visits shall be scheduled at least 72 hours in advance with VA Facilities Management. All on site work is expected to occur outside of business hours (0700-1730 weekdays or weekends) at times and dates agreed upon by the VA point of contact. The performance period for this work is 6 months from time of award, unless other time frames are approved in writing by the contracting office.
