523A4-24-010; Remove and Replace Pool Roof Boston VA Medical Center, West Roxbury Procurement Number: 36C24124B0021 This is a pre-solicitation notice synopsizing an upcoming competitive solicitation satisfying the requirements of FAR 5.201 and FAR 5.203. An invitation for bids will be posted on or about December 14, 2023. An invitation for bids may be posted before or after this date. The Boston VA Medical Center, West Roxbury has a requirement for a Firm-Fixed-Price Contract. This project primary includes the replacement of Pool Roof. Work includes the following: Contractor to provide all equipment, labor, and materials for a complete roof replacement. Work is not limited to but includes the following: Labor material & equipment to remove existing solar thermal heating systems on rooftop. Reinstall solar panel support system & remove panels offsite. Labor, materials, and equipment necessary to provide removal of existing rooftop equipment -disconnect/reconnection and/or relocation of other rooftop equipment and associated ductwork/piping to accommodate complete roof replacement. Labor and materials for new roof replacement. Provide 30 year manufacturer s warranty. GC to provide shop elevations/drawings to ensure proper drainage. Work shall be performed at VAMC West Roxbury in accordance with the Statement of Work, Specifications, Drawings, Federal, State, and Local Codes. The Period of Performance for this project is 180 calendar days from the Notice to Proceed. The magnitude of this project is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. The NAICS code for this procurement is 236220 and the size standard is $45 Million. The solicitation is being issued as an Invitation for Bids (IFB) under FAR Part 14. A bid bond is required, and the bid guarantee amount shall be at least 20 percent of the bid price but shall not exceed $3 million. This project is 100% set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses.
