An invitation for bids will be posted on or about December 14, 2023. The invitation for bids may be posted before or after this date. The Boston VA Medical Center, West Roxbury has a requirement for a Firm-Fixed-Price Contract. This project primarily includes the site preparation for new kitchen equipment for Nutrition Food & Services and installation of VA purchased new kitchen equipment as per the VA provided drawings and specifications. The Contractor shall provide all the necessary labor, materials, coordination including coordination drawings to complete the site prep work, new kitchen equipment installation and connect all utilities to ensure new kitchen layout is fully operational. Work to be performed at VAMC West Roxbury in accordance with the Statement of Work, Specifications, Drawings, Federal, State, and Local Codes. The Period of Performance for this project is 180 calendar days from the Notice to Proceed. The magnitude of this project is between $250,000 and $500,000. The NAICS code for this procurement is 236220 and the size standard is $45 Million. The solicitation is being issued as an Invitation for Bids (IFB) under FAR Part 14. A bid bond is required, and the bid guarantee amount shall be at least 20 percent of the bid price but shall not exceed $3 million. This project is 100% set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses.
