An invitation for bids will be posted on or about November 14, 2023. The VA Central Western Massachusetts (CWM) located in Leeds, MA has a requirement for a Firm Fixed Price construction project that requires a general contractor to provide all labor, materials, tools, equipment, and supervision necessary to perform work under the 631-24-002 Renovate B5 Linen Rooms project. The general scope for this project is to Renovate Building five (5) Linen Rooms. The project requires plumbing, HVAC, fur walls, replace doors and abate all necessary surfaces that are to be renovated as well as other requirements detailed in the statement of work (SOW) and drawings located at the Edward P. Boland Campus. The magnitude of this project is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. The NAICS code for this procurement is 236220 and the size standard is $45 Million. The solicitation is being issued as an Invitation for Bids (IFB) under FAR Part 14. A bid bond is required, and the bid guarantee amount shall be at least 20 percent of the bid price but shall not exceed $3 million. This project is 100% set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses.
