Purpose: The purpose of this sources sought notice is to determine if there are sufficient Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB), Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (VOSB), and/or Small Businesses to warrant a 100% set-aside for such socio-economic concerns. This notice is for market research to make appropriate acquisition decisions and to gain knowledge of potential qualified Small Businesses interested and capable of providing the requirements described below. Documentation of technical expertise must be presented in sufficient detail for the Government to determine that your company possesses the necessary expertise and experience to compete for this acquisition. The Providence VA Medical Center requires bridge inspection, load rating, and repair design services for a bridge that carries Air Force Drive over Pleasant Valley Brook located on the VAMC campus at 830 Chalkstone Avenue, Providence Rhode Island. The structure is a single-span stone and brick arch that is approximately eight (8) feet in length and 25 feet in width. The bridge was built in the late 1890s. Anticipated required services include: bridge inspection and reporting, bridge load rating, design development, construction documents, specifications, cost estimates, construction period services (optional) such as site visits and inspections.
