Project #402-23-003S Install Security Devices and PAC Systems VA Medical Center Maine, Togus Campus Procurement Number: 36C24123R0111 This is a pre-solicitation notice synopsizing an upcoming competitive solicitation satisfying the requirements of FAR 5.201 and FAR 5.203. A request for proposal will be posted on or about July 10, 2023. The VA Medical Center Maine, Togus Campus has a requirement for a Firm-Fixed-Price Contract. This project will involve the installation of security system devices in Building 257, 209, and 200 on VAMC Togus Campus, consisting of card readers, motion sensors, and intrusion detection devices. All work will be done at the VA Medical Center, Togus Campus in Augusta, ME. In general, work shall include all labor, material, equipment, and supervision to perform the required work. All employees of general contractor and subcontractors shall comply with VA security management program and obtain permission of the VA police, be identified by project and employer, and restricted from unauthorized access. The Period of Performance for this project is 90 calendar days from the Notice to Proceed. The magnitude of this project is under $250,000.00. The NAICS code for this procurement is 238210 and the size standard is $15.0 Million. The solicitation is being issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP) under FAR Part 15. A bid bond is required, and the bid guarantee amount shall be at least 20 percent of the bid price but shall not exceed $3 million. This project is 100% set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses.
