Solicitation Number: Notice Type: Pre- Solicitation Notice Synopsis: The government's intention is to issue multiple Blanket Purchase Agreement awards as a result of this request to any contractors with the capability to meet the requested requirements on a competitive basis under the authority of Title 38 U.S.C. Section 8123. Predicted Overview for RFP to include furnishing orthotic appliances and related services; custom orthotics, braces, diabetic shoes, inserts, elastic supports for joints, stockings, compression garments, other new devices. NAICS code: 339113, Size Standard: 800 employees. The contracts awarded will cover the entire Veterans Affairs Integrated System Network (VISN 1), Including Connecticut, Massachusetts, Maine, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, Vermont. Coverage will be based on individual veteran affairs medical centers and patient s home addresses. Vendors have to be able to cover one state (at a minimum) and must state coverage areas in the final RFP response. All eligible vendors will be able to submit a proposal when the RFP is posted. Qualifications and authorized vendor information will be fully available in final RFP. This is solely an ANNOUNCEMENT that the RFP will be posted on or around January 2nd, 2024.
