An invitation for bids will be posted on or about June 29, 2023. The VA Central Western Massachusetts (CWM) requires a contractor to provide professional services to carry out construction requirements of the Modernize, Replace, or Install Elevators in 8 Buildings project located in Leeds, MA. This project includes completely preparing the site for building operations, including demolition and removal of existing structures, and furnishing labor and materials and performing work for the Modernize, Replace, or Install Elevators in 8 Buildings VA Central Western Massachusetts HealthCare System VISN 1 Leeds as required by drawings and specifications. The magnitude of this project is between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000. The NAICS code for this procurement is 238290 and the size standard is $22 Million. The solicitation is being issued as an Invitation for Bids (IFB) under FAR Part 14. A bid bond is required, and the bid guarantee amount shall be at least 20 percent of the bid price but shall not exceed $3 million.
