This is not a solicitation. The Department of Veterans Affairs intends to negotiate a sole source contract with Kingfisher Company, Inc. Kingfisher Company, Inc. 81 Old Ferry Road Lowell, Massachusetts 01854 USA DUNS # 054330972 The purpose of this acquisition is to replace existing obsolete Kingfisher wireless emergency communication systems at the Maine VA Healthcare System. The government determined that this is a construction requirement and includes installation of new redundant receivers and workstations on campus. The contract for this award will be a period of performance of 120 calendar days from the notice to proceed. Because Kingfisher Company, Inc. is the only vendor/contractor that meets the Government s requirements based on its technical characteristics and commonality with the existing Kingfisher equipment, this acquisition will not be competed. Since the intent is to procure this on a sole source basis, no solicitation will be posted to Contracting Opportunities SAM.gov. The NAICS is 238210. The size standard is 16.5 million. The PSC is 6350. The authority for this action is FAR 6.302-1. Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.
