The Department of Veteran Affairs, VISN 01, Bedford VA Medical Center Healthcare System due to numerous factors has a requirement for: Brand Name Motorola Police Radios (Walkie Talkies). The objective of this task order is to provide: These Motorola Police Radios are needed for the VA Police Force Bedford. Motorola is the Radios they and the Fire Department have on site already. These additional Police Radios will be able to communicate with the Motorola s already existing in the Police Department and Fire Dept at VA Bedford Healthcare has a need for Brand Name or provided in RFQ# 36C24122Q0766 Schedule/Statement of Need. This combined synopsis solicitation RFQ, and the provisions and clauses incorporated are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2022-06 (05-26-2022). The combined synopsis solicitation is: 100% Set-Aside for Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB). The NAICS Code is 334290; the size standard is 750 Employees. Note, interested SDVOSB Offerors must be listed and registered in Vetbiz.gov to be considered for Award. Additionally, Offerors must provide an Authorized Distributor Letter with their quote if they are not the manufacturer. Responses shall be on an all or none bases, no partial submissions will be accepted. The Government reserves the right to make no award at all. Quote must be valid for 60 days. STATEMENT OF WORK The Department of Veterans Affairs, VA Bedford Healthcare System, has a BRAND NAME requirement for 10 Motorola Portable Radios, 10 compatible single-unit Chargers, programming for all radios, and associated equipment. The purpose of this request is to add additional radios to our current complement in order to have spares when the department reaches its full FTEE. Due to the nature of Police work there is the possibility of radios becoming damaged. These radios will ensure we have replacements on hand should that occur. These replacements must be Motorola Brand to be compatible with the current radios used on station.
