West Roxbury VA Medical Center is seeking delivery and labor of (1) AQUAFORCE SYSTEM NSF Goulds G&L *GNLV2VJE6K10E2GCK #duplex Booster Package 15hp 460v 400GPM @ 25PSI BOOST and (1) Amtrol *AMT391378 #amtrol Tank Wx404c 125psi Asme 68gallon for their Water booster/Pressure regulating System. This project would install water booster/pressure regulating system for Building 2 at the West Roxbury Campus. Currently, the pressure of the main municipal water feed barely meets minimum pressure requirements to operate multiple critical systems in Building 2, including Sterile Processing, Process Water Systems (reverse osmosis and distilled), and the hemodialysis unit. Fluctuating municipal water pressure, ongoing campus projects, and continuously evolving filtering standards all present risk to the building water pressure to fall below minimum required standards, which would negatively impact continuity of care, specifically the operating suites and the dialysis unit. The booster system will eliminate this risk by providing redundant constant pressure regulating system for all of building 2. The installation of the booster system will ensure consistent and appropriate pressure for downstream water systems in Building 2 serving critical patient care areas.
