This solicitation is being issued as unrestricted, open to all businesses. If award cannot be made, the solicitation will be cancelled, and the requirement resolicited. The Department of Veterans Affairs, Veterans Health Administration, intends to solicit proposals from contractors to provide large vehicle repair services for two shuttle vehicles in support of the Boston, MA VAMC, 900 Belmont Street, Brockton. MA. NAICS Code is 811111 (General Automotive Repair) with a Small Business Size Standard of $8.0M. The product/service code is J023. The VA anticipates issuing a solicitation for this requirement on or about 8/16/2022. Proposals will be accepted for a two week period commencing with the issuance date of the solicitation. Interested contractors will be responsible for downloading copies of the solicitation (and any subsequent amendments) from that website, and no hard copies will be made available. The solicitation will provide instructions to contractors about the proposal submission process. Prospective Offerors are encouraged to register their interest in the solicitation on the Contracting Opportunities website (sam.gov) so that they are notified of the issuance of the solicitation and any amendments. The performance period is 60 days from issuance of award. This is a pre-solicitation notice synopsizing an upcoming RFQ solicitation to satisfy the requirements of FAR 5.201 and 5.203. All interested parties should register via FEDBIZOPPS interested vendors list. It is the responsibility of the offeror to monitor and download amendments from FebBizOpps which may be issued to this solicitation. No proposals are being requested or accepted with this synopsis. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION FOR PROPOSALS AND NO CONTRACT SHALL BE AWARDED FROM THIS SYNOPSIS. THIS IS STRICTLY MARKET RESEARCH. The purpose of this synopsis is to gain knowledge of interest, capabilities, and qualifications of various members of industry, who have the capabilities to provide the required services, in accordance with the Performance Work Statement (PWS) and attached photographs. This contract is to be established on a firm-fixed-price basis.
