The Department of Veterans Affairs intends to negotiate a sole source contract with:   Alliant Enterprises, LLC 2140 OAK INDUSTRIAL DR NE GRAND RAPIDS, MI 49505-6014 ueiSAM: RM64EJ3CJ7Z5 This is not a solicitation. The Department of Veterans Affairs intends to negotiate to purchase Olympus Microscopes for VISN 1 Laboratories. Items to be delivered to numerous VAMC locations within the New England area. The contractor will provide the required parts and labor. Alliant Enterprises, LLC is the only SDVOSB vendor/contractor that can provide the supplies required to remain compliant with the existing system, this acquisition will not be competed. Since the intent is to procure this on a sole source basis, no solicitation will be posted to Contracting Opportunities SAM.gov. The authority for this action is FAR 6.302.1-1 Only One Responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.  The NAICS 334519. The size standard is 500 employees.
