The Department of Veterans Affairs intends to negotiate a sole source contract with:   CenTrak, Inc. 826 Newtown Yardley Rd STE 101 Newtown, PA 18940-1797 ueiSAM: SEGPWM5D5Y94 The Department of Veterans Affairs VA Medical Center intends to award a Firm Fixed Price, Sole Source contract for software and hardware support and maintenance services for the CenTrak Environmental Monitoring RTLS system by CenTrak as deployed to the VISN 1 sites. The detailed Software and Hardware Maintenance, and Support Services require proprietary CenTrak certified engineering knowledge, expertise and access, and are thus only available from CenTrak, Inc. The authority for applying the Simplified Procedures for Commercial Items of FAR 13.5 is 41 U.S.C. 1901. This statute is implemented by for restricting competition on this procurement via FAR 13.106-1(b)(2). The intent is to procure these services on a sole source basis. No solicitation will be posted to Contract Opportunities.  The NAICS 541513.
