The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 1, is seeking sources for potential Medical Technologist (MT) / Medical Technician (MLT), Histologic Technologist (HLT) / Histology Technician (HT), Pathologists Assistants (PA) and Phlebotomists (PB) to provide Laboratory Services for the VA West Haven Healthcare System. 2. The intended period of performance of the contract will be for a base one(1) year and four(4) one-year options. The area/location for the laboratory services will be at the VA West Haven Healthcare System. 3. The VA is interested in potential sources that can provide the appropriate level of laboratory services to the beneficiaries of the above mentioned VISN 1 Medical Station. Interested parties are encouraged to respond with capabilities statements that they can provide all of the above laboratory services for Veterans as well as they provide to the VA West Haven Healthcare System. 4. This is a source sought announcement ONLY and is NOT a request for proposals or quotes. A Response to this sources sought is not a request to be added to a prospective bidders list or to receive a copy of a solicitation. Information received as a result of this notice will be considered solely for the purpose of determining competition. 5.
