The Department of Veterans Affairs intends to negotiate a purchase of equipment with Government Scientific Source INC (GSS), 12351 Sunrise Valley Drive, Reston VA, 20191 to obtain Aperio GT 450 Next Generation Scanner and Aperio GT 450 Scanner Admin Manager. GSS is the only small business distributor for the Aperio GT450 system made by Leica Biosystems. Since the intent is to procure this on a sole source basis, no solicitation will be posted to FedBizOps (FBO). The authority for this action is FAR 6.302.1-1 Only One Responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.  The NAICS 334516.
