The Department of Veterans Affairs intends to negotiate a sole source contract for a 7 month base and (3) annual option years with Dr. Carie Rodgers PhD, ABPP of 4179 Middlesex Drive, San Diego, CA 92116 to obtain specialized consultation services for a Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) randomized control trial for the VA Boston Healthcare System on an as needed basis. Due to the specialized education and experience held by Dr. Carie Rodgers PhD, ABPP in the field of PTSD, she is the only vendor that can provide the PTSD/CPT consultation services required. Since the intent is to procure this on a sole source basis, no solicitation will be posted to Contract Opportunities. The applicable NAICS code is 541720 with a $22MIL size standard. The PSC is Q526. The authority for this action is FAR 6.302.1-1 Only One Responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.
