The Department of Veterans Affairs intends to negotiate a sole source contract with:   Parker X-ray Solution Service, Inc. (047709779) 260 Governor St East Hartford, CT 06108-2011 ueiSAM: KL6PX988N2G1  The Department of Veterans Affairs VA Medical Center intends to award a purchase order, Firm Fixed Price, Sole Source contract for preventative and corrective maintenance on Samsung GM85 Mobile Digital Radiographic System to Small Business (SB) Parker X-ray Solution Service, Inc,. Parker X-ray Solution Service, Inc. is an authorized service and sales representative in the Northeast Region of the United States for the Samsung DR Product Line. Parker X-ray Solution Service, Inc. is the only authorized service and sales representative close enough geographically to meet the service requirement response times. Parker X-ray Solution Service s sales and service personnel have successfully attended the required Samsung equipment training. The authority for applying the Simplified Procedures for Commercial Items of FAR 13.5 is 41 U.S.C. 1901. This statute is implemented by for restricting competition on this procurement via FAR 13.106-1(b)(2). The intent is to procure these services on a sole source basis. No solicitation will be posted to Contract Opportunities.  The NAICS 811219.
