Title of Project: Veterans Affairs PTSD Brain Bank Bioinformatics b. Scope of Work: The VA Boston Medical Center anticipates procuring Bioinformatics support for the PTSD Brain Bank. This procurement is for Bioinformatic Services in support of the VA PTSD Brain Bank. The project includes development and maintenance of bioinformatics infrastructure for collecting, entering, tracking, reviewing, cleaning, reporting, and sharing project data. This will include developing new genomic, transcriptomic, and proteomic databases in support of the PTSD brain bank. The databases will be implemented within the Veterans Administration Information Technology infrastructure and connect to the VA Enterprise Web Services Cloud and a Shared Supercomputing Cluster. The project will involve the implementation of statistical tools for data management and quality control procedures; participant-level data cleaning; analytic dataset creation including derived variables and appropriate documentation; development and maintenance of reports; statistical analyses.
