An invitation for bids will be posted on or about March 18, 2022. The VA Medical Center (VAMC) White River Junction located in White River Junction, VT has a requirement for a Firmed Fixed Price construction project that requires a specialty contractor to provide all labor, materials, tools, equipment, and supervision necessary to perform work under the 405-22-018 Bldg 31 Elevator Upgrade project. The general scope of this project is to provide replacement components and labor to upgrade and modernize three (3) passenger elevators in Bldg 31 at VAMC White River Junction. Work includes all major system components; to include traction motors, VF drives, control systems, cables, safety systems, interior components and entrance doors. The magnitude of this project is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. The NAICS code for this procurement is 238290 and the size standard is $16.5 million. The solicitation is being issued as an Invitation for Bids (IFB) under FAR Part 14. A bid bond is required, and the bid guarantee amount shall be at least 20 percent of the bid price but shall not exceed $3 million. This project is 100% set-aside for Small Businesses.
