PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Network Contracting Office 1 (NCO 1) hereby gives notice of the Government s intent to sole source Custom medical cabinetry for sterile processing Name brand Modumax. The proposed contract action is for supplies and services, which the government intends to negotiate with only one source. Determination of this single source procurement is in accordance with Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements per 41 U.S.C. § 1901 and as implemented by FAR 13.106-1(b)(2). Modumax the only one that can meet the immediate needs of this location and is being custom manufactured, due to their ability to immediately provide equipment that the Government requires. This notice is not to be considered a request for quotations or proposals. A contract will not be awarded based on an offer received in response to this notice; however, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. Proposals or offers received from this notice will be used to determine if a comparable source is available and more advantageous to the government.
