Background: The purpose of the contract is to provide parking spaces for patients, visitors and employees of the Edith Nourse Rogers Memorial Veterans Hospital, 200 Springs Road, Bedford, MA 01730. Parking spaces are to be provided for sixty (60) vehicles in total. Scope of Work: The Contractor shall provide all necessary personnel, supervision, equipment, labor, materials and maintenance, including snow removal, to provide parking space for 60 vehicles. Performance Period: Base year contract with four one-year options. REQUIREMENTS: All vehicle parking space shall be available 24 hours, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Each parking space shall be a minimum of 9 feet wide by 18 feet long. Handicap accessible spaces, meeting the requirements of the Architectural Barriers Act Accessibility Standards (ABAAS), shall be available. The parking area shall meet the requirements of the Architectural Barriers Act Accessibility Standards (ABAAS). The entire parking area must be lit during hours of darkness. Parking area shall be maintained in a safe condition. Snow and ice removal shall be provided for the parking area.
