SOURCES SOUGHT: The VA Medical Center Central Western Massachusetts in Leeds, MA has a requirement for a Firm Fixed Price contract to provide professional Architect/Engineer (A/E) Design Services to modernize and replace six elevators and install two new elevator towers on the Leeds Campus. This project is to correct FCA deficiencies as well as modernize the elevators. This is not a Request for Proposal; the purpose of this notice is to determine if there are qualified SDVOSBs, VOSBs or Small Businesses that have the experience. The NAICS code is 541330 and the small business size standard is $16.5 million.. The following information is requested in response to this notice: (1) A positive statement of your intention to submit a proposal in response to a solicitation for this project and include your firm s DUNS number; (2) Evidence of experience in A/E Services for a complete design of modernizing and replacing existing elevators, including federal and state code compliance and installing new elevator towers to existing buildings; (3) Evidence your firm has experience in critical path scheduling, fire protection, construction infection control protocols, energy conservation and sustainable design practices. Include Government and private experience on projects similar in size, scope and complexity; (4) Evidence your firm can perform 50% of the requirement IAW 52.219-14 Limitations on Subcontracting clause. All information must be submitted in sufficient detail for a decision to be made on the availability of interested SDVOSB, VOSB or SB concerns. Failure to submit all information requested will result in a contractor not being considered as an interested SDVOSB, VOSB, or SB concern.
