Potential vendors should respond with their ability to provide the following brand name or equal: The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), VISN 1, Network Contracting Office 1 (NCO 1), is seeking information and potential qualified sources capable of meeting the Statement of Work (SOW) for a IHS DUET 2 Channel AEP with OAE base unit and VEMP, for the Togus VA Medical Center, 1 VA Center, Augusta, ME 04330-6795 STATEMENT OF WORK INTRODUCTION: As part of the new Portland CBOC clinic build, a comprehensive Audiology specialty clinic will be included. The Audiology clinic will incorporate diagnostic audiologic and amplification fitting (hearing aid) services as part of its comprehensive audiologic service delivery model. The IHS DUET AEP with OAE base and VEMP allow for the electrophysiologic measure of brainwave activity in response to a click stimulus to rule out neurologic abnormalities of the auditory nerve and auditory pathway up through the brainstem. In addition, this equipment allows for objective estimates of hearing sensitivity without the need for behavioral responses thru traditional psychometric function testing of hearing sensitivity. TITLE OF PROJECT: Purchasing IHS DUET AEP with OAE base and VEMP AUTHORITY FOR THE PROJECT: Project has been reviewed and approved by the Chief of Logistics.
