This is not a solicitation. The Department of Veterans Affairs intends to negotiate a sole source award for a 12-month contract to obtain service on the existing Honeywell Building Automation System at the Togus VAMC campus. The maintenance will include preventative scheduled activities listed in the scope of work along with front end system maintenance. Testing will include point by point system checkout of the security system on campus. The systems described above are highly specialized and the computer programs are proprietary to Honeywell International, Inc. Since the intent is to procure these services with a limited source justification off GSA FSS Contract Number: GS-21F-0134W, no solicitation will be posted to Contract Opportunities. The applicable NAICS code is 561210. The FSC/PSC is J063. The authority under 41 U.S.C.3304(a)(1) is implemented by restricting competition on this procurement via FAR 8.405-6, Limiting Sources. This notice is neither a request for quote nor a solicitation for offers.
