THIS SOURCES SOUGHT/REQUEST FOR INFORMATION IS ISSUED FOR INFORMATION AND PLANNING PURPOSES ONLY AND IS NOT CONSIDERED A SOLICITATION. The purpose of this sources sought/RFI is to gain knowledge of businesses that are capable of fulfilling the following work requirement. Statement of Work Fuel Reconditioning Background: This work covers all labor, and material for reconditioning of fuel in 10,000 gallon underground diesel tank at VA Boston Healthcare System, Jamaica Plain campus. Tasks: Remediate, recondition and filter all stored diesel fuel in all tanks to less than .5 micron and 99.9 water extraction and separation. Perform post-reconditioning sampling for ASTM analysis. Add antimicrobial chemical to fuel to neutralize existing contamination. All waste to be left in drums for VA removal. Contractor is required to have a non-enabled PIV card. Contractor will be required to check in with VA Engineering upon arrival and will be escorted by a VA employee while on site. Place of Performance: 150 South Huntington Avenue, Boston, MA 02130 Period of Performance: the contractor will have one week to complete the required work. Options are not included.
