This Pre-solicitation Notice is issued solely for informational, market research, and planning purposes only. It does not constitute a Request for Quote (RFQ) or a promise to issue an RFQ in the future. The Network Contracting Office 1 (NCO-1) of the Department of Veterans Health Administration (VHA) has a requirement to lease a Siemens Espree mobile MRI system for 6 months for the Lewiston, ME CBOC to support the Togus VAMC. THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY. This notice does not constitute a commitment by the Government. All information submitted in response to this announcement is voluntary, and the Government will not pay for information requested nor will it compensate any respondent for any cost incurred in developing information provided to the Government. Interested parties are asked to submit capability statement that clearly and convincingly identifies their capability to fulfill the requirements. Businesses of all sizes are encouraged to respond; however, each respondent must clearly identify their business size in their capabilities statement. This Sources Sought is only for the purpose of identifying potential sources as part of NCO-1 market research. No Request for Proposal (RFP), Quote (RFQ), or Invitation for Bid (IFB) exists; therefore, do not request a copy of the RFP, RFQ or IFB. Responses to this Sources Sought are not quotes, proposals, or bids on which NCO-1 can issue any contract.
