The Department of Veterans Affairs intends to negotiate a sole source contract for a 12-month base and (4) four 12-month option periods with Covidien Sales LLC, 15 Hampshire St, Mansfield, MA 02048, for superDimension navigation system proactive care plan which includes planned maintenance and qualifications. The superDimension iLogic Stereottic System is a sole source product, manufactured, sold and serviced exclusively by Covidien Salles LLC, a Medtronic company. No division of Covidien Sales LLC, nor any other company, makes or services a similar or competing product. Since the intent is to procure this on a sole source basis, no solicitation will be posted to Contract Opportunities. The applicable NAICS code is 811219 with a $22 Million size standard. The PSC is J065. The authority for this action is FAR 6.302.1-1 Only One Responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.
