This is not a solicitation. The Department of Veterans Affairs intends to negotiate a sole source contract for a 1 week base and (4) annual option weeks with , Crowne Plaza Hotel, 801 Greenwich Ave, Warwick RI 02886 to obtain lodging services for the disable Veterans Sports Clinic for the VA Boston Healthcare System. The Crowne Plaza at the Providence/Warwick airport is the best economical choice for hotel rooms at the government per diem rate, amenities, and best centrally located. The Crowne Plaza has the required number of handicap accessible rooms and bathrooms. It meets the requirements of the number of double bedrooms needed. The parking at the Crowne Plaza is plentiful and free. Since the intent is to procure this on a sole source basis, no solicitation will be posted to FedBizOps (FBO). The applicable NAICS code is 721110 with a $35MIL size standard. The PSC is V231. Purchase is approved in accordance with FAR13.106-1(b).
