The Department of Veterans Affairs intends to negotiate a purchase of equipment with Government Scientific Source INC (GSS), 12351 Sunrise Valley Drive, Reston VA, 20191 to obtain Aperio GT 450 Scanner, Viewing station, Admin Server, Admin MGR-SAM, and eSlide Mgr. Hub license. GSS is the only small business distributor for the Aperio GT450 system made by Leica Biosystems. Since the intent is to procure this on a sole source basis, no solicitation will be posted to FedBizOps (FBO). The applicable NAICS code is 334516 with a 1,000-employee size standard. The PSC is 6515. The authority for this action is FAR 6.302.1-1 Only One Responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.
