Which is required to be inspected at set intervals as well as if there are any major repairs of specific parts. This is not a solicitation announcement. The purpose of this announcement is to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources and their size classification and socio-economic categories (service-disabled veteran owned small business, Veteran owned small business, hub zone, 8(a), small disadvantage business, woman-owned, small business, or large business). The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code assigned for this requirement is 541690 other Scientific and Technical Consulting Services. The intent of the procurement is to award a Firm Fixed Contract. Responses must be complete and sufficiently detailed to address the specific information contained in the Statement of work (SOW). This is not a solicitation. The Department of Veterans Affairs intends to negotiate a sole source contract for a 12-month base and (4) annual option years with Physics Consultants, INC. (PCI), Portland ME 04103 to obtain periodically inspect x-ray equipment and other medical equipment as required by State regulations, JCAHO, and other accredited certification bodies. All inspections are performed under supervision of a radiological physicist certified by the American Board of Radiology and the State of Maine. This is a follow-on contract to PCI s previous contract VA241-16-P-1035. Since the intent is to procure this on a sole source basis, no solicitation will be posted to FedBizOps (FBO). The applicable NAICS code is 541690 with a $16.5 MIL size standard. The PSC is H365.
