The Department of Veterans Affairs intends to negotiate a sole source contract for 1 Codonics Safe Label Systems with CAREFUSION SOLUTIONS, LLC, 3750 TORREY VIEW CT, SAN DIEGO, CA 92130 for the Providence VAMC. Due to the affiliate relationship with Providence VAMC and the proprietary nature of the equipment involved, CAREFUSION SOLUTIONS, LLC, is the only vendor that can provide service support for this requirement. Since the intent is to procure this on a sole source basis, no solicitation will be posted to FedBizOps (FBO). The applicable NAICS code is 339112 with a 1000 employees size standard. The PSC is 6515. The authority for this action is FAR 6.302.1-1 Only One Responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.
