The VA Central Western Massachusetts (CWM) located in Leeds, MA has a requirement for a Firmed Fixed Price construction project that requires a general contractor to complete stormwater structure and general road repair on the section of Front Hill Road included in the design documents. This work is intended to be performed in a 180-calendar day construction mobilization period during warm weather months but with a 90-calendar day administrative period prior to for submittals and coordination work. All work must meet VHA, OSHA, EPA, and Mass DEP standards. The construction cost range for this project is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. The requirement will be solicited as a SDVOSB set aside. The applicable NAICS code is 237110 and the size standard is $39.5 million. This solicitation is for a firm, fixed price construction contract. Award shall be made to the technically acceptable offer that provides the lowest reasonable price as referenced in the Statement of Items. The Government intends to award a contract to one offeror deemed responsible in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR 9.1).
